We warrant our Snostop Products for a period of 3 years from the date of the shipment in accordance with the following.
Safety Factor
The family of Snostop Products is engineered to handle the various snow conditions compiled by the National Research Council of Canada and the USA National Climate Data Center. Each order is configured for the normal snow load conditions in the specified location with a safety factor of at least 2.
Defects in Materials and Workmanship
In the event that any of our Snostop Products are found to be defective in materials and workmanship within the said 3-year period we will repair or replace such defective Product or part thereof free of charge.
Installation
Our Snostop Product must be properly installed in accordance with our installation instructions. Our Warranty is rendered null and void in the event that our Snostop Products has been:
(a) improperly installed, or
(b) the installer has failed to complete and return the attached Installation Certificate.
Maintenance
Our Snostop Product must be properly inspected twice a year - in the Fall before the snow and in the Spring after the snow melt. This inspection must ensure that the Snostop Product is in good condition and that no elements have been damaged or loosened - e.g. roof condition, bolts. Defects so identified must be corrected in a timely manner.
Other Factors
Our Warranty is rendered null and void if our Snostop Product has been damaged, abused, misused, improperly repaired or modified, overloaded, not properly maintained or suffered a natural calamity.
Notification
In the unlikely event that there is a Warranty claim for a Snostop Product failure, Snostop Division must be notified in writing within 30 days of such failure.
Our obligation under this Warranty represent the full extent of our liability for, or arising out of, the supply of Snostop products.
