Always predetermine what you are fastening into, and know the substrate can handle the snow loads.
From the quote given determine where the brackets are going to be fastened. Make a chalk line or measure from the eave to the point of securement.
Caulk the base plate of the bracket and place along the chalk line.
Secure the bracket using the screws provided. Pre-drilling metal may be necessary.
Step 2: Tube installation
The tubes install one into the other by sliding the swaged end of the first tube, into the full size, opposite end of the next tube. Tubes can be easily cut to the appropriate length when needed with a power or hack saw. At the first bracket in any run, and at the last bracket of the same run a stop pin must be inserted through the tube, on the inside position of the first and last brackets, to prevent the tubes from sliding out of position. The stop pin is installed by pre-drilling the tubes with a 1/8” drill bit and tab the stop pins, which are provided, into the hole with a hammer
NOTE: For easiest results install several brackets and then tubing and then repeat. This will help proper alignment at all times and allow for an easier install.
