Our Snostop engineer tests all the systems we specify with a computer snow load simulation. Top of the line software modelling and finite element stress analysis tests are conducted on all system components based on the actual client roof configuration. Once load strengths are established, we provide an engineered solution for each project.

Snow brackets are installed according to a determined layout from eave to ridge to eliminate uneven snow build up.

Snow Guard Manufacturing

In North America, there are no snow guard standards, whereas Europe looks at potential roof failure areas and designs custom systems to suit the particular project. According to Terry Anderson, an expert roofing consultant, European engineers use specific snow guards and layouts depending on different sheathing types and thicknesses, roof types, roof slopes, and snow loads.

All Snostop components are made from tool and dies to ensure precision manufacturing at all times. All components are designed, engineered and tested to work in conjunction with each other.
